Sue graduated from Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 1997 and her first job was in a small animal practice on the outskirts of Brisbane. She completed her residency (training program) in Small Animal Surgery at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, University of Queensland, and Membership in Small Animal Surgery in 2002. Sue worked at Veterinary Specialist Services in Brisbane, and Willows Referral Service in England, before passing her specialty exams for Fellowship in Small Animal Surgery in 2006. Over the years she has lectured, tutored, mentored and examined both under-graduate and post-graduate veterinarians.
Sue started her mobile surgery business in 2007, servicing Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Her areas of interest include orthopaedics and arthroscopy.
Outside of work, Sue is married with two kids and two “oodle” rescue dogs. She tries to stay fit and healthy to keep up with the demands of life!
